Thank you for asking.
All of our produce is 100% organic – fruit and vegetables, grains, legumes and superfoods.
Organic produce – while superior in taste and quality – can be a little temperamental at times… It’s subject to availability and of course weather patterns. At times, certain ingredients may not be available, in which case we’ll make an appropriate replacement. Also, organic produce can be delightfully surprising! You may find a few extra ingredients in your meals if Chef Glen gets excited about what’s on offer any particular week. Bottom line: you will not go without.
Our meat is grass-fed and sourced from Australian, organic farmers.
After much deliberation we decided on sourcing our salmon from Ora King Salmon in New Zealand. These guys practice sustainable farming.
Yes! All meals come paleo as standard! If you’re choosing either the vegetarian or vegan option, you’ll encounter some legumes.
Yes! Vegetarian and vegan options are available for every meal. For your protein source, you can look forward to yummy substitutions such as jerk sweet potato, garlic green beans, spiced grilled eggplant, satay tempeh, tofu, boiled eggs (for vegos) and more!
Please note: Your invoice WILL describe the original dish, for example: Herb crusted salmon; braised leek & potato; tomato, basil & fennel salad; lemon dressing. ( V option) — this is simply a software limitation that we’re still working on. Rest assured, your meals will be abundant with nothing but plants (and the odd egg for vegetarians)!
I’ll answer your question with a question; is the sky blue? Yes, you better believe it! In fact, all our meals are both gluten and dairy free.
Yes. We use:
Tree nuts, sesame, soy (organic tofu, tempeh, tamari and miso) honey and eggs.
Unfortunately we can’t cater for people with nut allergies.
Our ingredients lists located in the menu area clearly state whether any allergens are present in each meal.
As a general rule, no. Not unless you want Chef Glen’s head to explode.
Having said that, if you strictly don’t eat pork, or seafood, please just leave us a note in the comments section of your order and we’ll find a suitable replacement for you. Also, if you’re a pescatarian, select the vegetarian option and leave us this note: Seafood okay.
Our ideal customer is someone who embraces all flavours of the highest quality. Not only that but the food combinations we choose are painstakingly (and lovingly) curated specifically to knock your socks off.
If there’s meal that you know that you can’t eat, or perhaps won’t enjoy, please leave a comment when placing your order such as: No lunch salmon please. Add extra beef salad.
Alternatively, choose the 3-day option and select the meals that you deem yum-sounding.
Oh, no you didn’t!
Look, what helps enable us to radiate and thrive is whole, beautifully and mindfully prepared organic food that’s free from preservatives and processing. You simply cannot measure all that goodness via a calorie.
We promote a balanced diet and certainly won’t be dishing out 500g steaks for dinner. But that has absolutely no bearing on how satisfied you will be from each and every meal unless you are literally a full-grown bear.
Respectfully prepared – often slow-cooked – proteins are a highlight of our menu.
Depending on the dish, you can expect between 150-250g of meat per portion.
For breakfast, options include chia seeds, nuts, eggs, buckwheat, quinoa – all high sources of protein.
Of course. How could they not be? There’s nothing but natural, organic goodness in our meals.
Our suppliers need time to source our ingredients.
Unlike the apples and oranges you may buy at the supermarket, organic produce has an organic shelf-life. (This is a good thing – food is meant to be eaten fresh) After receiving your order no later than Wednesday morning, we then place our order to our wonderful suppliers Wednesday afternoon for Friday collection, before your meals are lovingly prepared Saturday and Sunday, before being delivered Monday. Just remember – freshness means flavour.
If you order prior to Wednesday and you cancel before 9am Wednesday morning, you’ll be given a full refund.
Unfortunately, as explained above, we place our order after you place yours, so if you cancel after 9am Wednesday morning, the food’s journey to your table has already begun.
However, we’ll gladly refund you 50% of your order if you cancel before Friday 9am.
After Friday 9am, no refunds will be given.

We’d still love to feed you!
If, by chance, your suburb is not accepted by our system please send a text message to our team on 0487 387 059 to check in as we are adding new delivery areas every week!
Please understand if we can’t deliver to you. Our courier company charges $60 per delivery to some suburbs and as you can appreciate, that’s simply a cost that we can’t absorb.
If a public holiday falls on a Monday, we will move deliveries to Tuesday (but don’t worry, we’ll also push our prep back a day so you get the freshest of fresh meals!). Because we are Queensland based, this will only happen if the sunshine state has a scheduled public holiday.
But don’t worry, we’ll always let you know ahead of time!
We charge a flat rate of $20 for delivery from Brisbane to Casuarina and in between.
All our meals are delivered to you fresh – unless we are plunged into an ice-age you will never receive a frozen meal from us! You’re welcome to freeze the meals at your discretion (and we offer a little more advice about this below).
Remember: never re-freeze anything that you’ve previously frozen and then allowed to defrost. Once defrosted, your meal must be eaten.
We understand that it’s not always possible to be at home to meet the delivery team, but styrofoam coolers aren’t our style so we’ve invested in sustainably insulated Woolcool boxes which keep your meals chilled for as long as you need!
Plus, if you leave your box and ice packs out on your next delivery we can reuse them!
Our meals come clearly labeled indicating whether they are suitable for freezing.
If you’re eating your 5 days worth of food within 5 days in receipt, storing your meals in the fridge is absolutely fine.
If you’re stretching your meals out, throw a few of the ones labelled ‘Suitable to freeze’ in the freezer.
Follow the order of the meals as they appear on your packing slip that you receive upon delivery. They are ordered specifically as to what meal should be eaten first for freshness.
First thing’s first – the meal’s label will state whether it should be eaten chilled or hot.
Our recycled sugarcane containers can be heated to 220 degrees in the oven.
We recommend re-heating meals at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, but please, before you dig in, check to ensure your entire meal in steaming. (This is important).
Please lift the lid and check the contents of your container. There may be a smaller container within (a dressing, or sauce, or sprouts!). These see-through containers are not heat resistant. Take them out of meal before you heat it.
All our containers and bags are compostable – we use recycled sugarcane and plant-based biodegradable plastic – just make sure you remove the stickers from the containers before recycling or composting.
